Registration and Fees

Registration applications are automatically sent out to all of last year’s umpires in mid-February. Contact MRPA for applications.

Fees

  • $50 Pre-Registration: MRPA must receive (not post-marked) at least four days
    before the clinic date
  • $60 At-the-door Registration and registrations not meeting pre-registration
    deadline
  • $60 Late Fee (after April 28)

Certification Requirements

To become officially certified, individuals must fulfill two requirements:

  • Mail registration application and fee to the MRPA, 200 Charles Street NE , Fridley , MN 55432 , Fridley MN 55432.
  • Attend a Rules Interpretation Clinic.
Attendance is manditory and the USSSA Umpires Test is administered.
  • New umpires must attend one of the New Umpire Clinics offered throughout the state.

Clinic Information

To help us in the registration process, umpires should submit their registration applications as far in advance of their chosen clinic as possible. An umpire may, however, attend a clinic without having previously submitted an application. A $10 late fee for same-day registering (at the door) is applied.
